[[Worlds/Classic iPhone|Classic iPhone]] is a server specificity designed for compatibility with the iPhone, handling most of the scripts on the server-side to improve performance. [[Worlds/Classic iPhone|Classic iPhone]] can be accessed via a special version of the [[Mac]] [[Graal Client|Graal client]] only available for the iPhone.

== Technical Information ==
The [[Worlds/Classic iPhone|Classic iPhone]] server, as well as all iPhone servers, run a specially modified [[Mac]] [[Graal Client|Graal client]]. The client runs off the same engine as normal Graal clients, and executes [[Creation/Dev/GScript|GS2 code]] on the client. This means that it is possible to develop content for both the iPhone client and the normal client at the same time, and using the same [[Creation/Dev/Tools|tools]] as for normal development, such as the [[Creation/Dev/Level editor|level editor]], [[Creation/Management/Remote Control|Remote Control]], and [[Creation/Dev/Gani|Graal Shop]].

==History==

===2009===
EuroCenter had previously released many games for the Apple Appstore, including Adrenaline Pool, Ace Tennis, Battle Online, DinoSmash, Adrenaline Golf, and Cocoto Kart Online. However, there were no iPhone Graal applications. This would change in December, 2009, when Classic iPhone, the first ever GraalOnline server for iDevices, was released. Stefan would appoint Xor to be the manager of the server. Upon release, the playercount avereage around fifty; however, many players from PC Graal predicted that the player population for the iPhone server would continue to reach great heights to rival Graal PC's playercount. The server may had only been open for a short time, but with the playercount, the unique gameplay, and the easy to play in short bursts iPhone application, the server already showed signs of a soon-to-be fantastic server.

===2010===
When the year turned 2010, Classic iPhone was still extremely young. Throughout the year, the staff team would continue to surprise players with various updates of all kinds. Probably the most dynamic update in Classic iPhone was the release of guilds and houses. Players were soon able to purchase houses, complete with furniture that the players can place inside at will, as well create guilds. Soon after guilds were released, Guild Towers (and later Guild Spar) were released. Players would be able to fight for these towers to earn points for their guilds. As predicted, the playercount soon soared to numbers of 800-1000; cosequently, several new towns were released. Perhaps the most widely anticipated town was Snowtown. Once Snowtown released, players could take a trip through the mountains, passing through dark caves and various sized cliffsides, to arrive in the snowy town. (Many players were excited to see snow, for this was the first time to view snow since the previous Winter when the server first opened.) Other notable towns that were released were Balamb Island, Nexus Town, and Deadwood. With these new towns came interesting new transportation methods: the horse and drasine. Players were able to purchase a horse, chow on a few bushes, and race around the world about 5 times as fast as normal. The drasine allowed players to ride customizable railroad takes in their home. (New cities that included railroad tracks were also promised.) The first Graal iPhone event was also released: Capture the Flag. This event allowed you to play the fun game as well as earn a few extra gralats. There was even a leaders board for players to easily see who was the CTF champion. Meanwhile, developers decided to release an even bigger type of house: This new house, called a guild house, allowed for all players of a guild (or 25 players total) to fit inside the house at ease. Another group or major release in Classic iPhone, that year, were the various supplies of new ways to customize your player. At first, only hats were released; however, by the end of the year, the player would oftentimes log on to see new bodies and heads for sale. Aside from all the content, sometimes players found themselves a little bored with the server. To try and bring more excitement to the server, admins would host games like Hide 'N' Seek and Juggernaut for exclusive prizes. All these updates contributed to an even bigger increase in playercount. By the time 2010 came to a close, the playercount had reached numbers as high as 1800.

===2011===
2011 started out with many bug-fixes and many customization releases. Players are as active as ever on the server. Later into the year however, Classic iPhone was then made available for play on Facebook. To start, players could play on the Facebook server only, until very soon after it's release, the iPhone server was made playable to players who had purchased an item called VIP. This special class would last 1 month, and would have to be updated every month for the iPhone server to be accessed by the Facebook application.

In order to show our Halloween spirit, we, the Zodiac staff have decided to spice the server up with some festive items and themes.

We have made many changes to the server for the holiday which are listed below:
*Halloween Candy, which can be exchanged in increments of 50 for halloween bags, now drops from baddies.
*Halloween Bags can be opened to find even more candy and other surprises!
But don't get too greedy! Rumor has it that on Halloween, mysterious events involving
these bags will take place. Save them up!
*A Jack-o-Lantern making competition has begun! The winner will be announced on Halloween night and will be awarded for their efforts.
*Halloween costumes now drop from most monsters! These costumes can be exchanged
in increments of 500 (100 for boss monsters) for reusable costumes of the same sort.

After a long wait, the new Zone map is complete!

Bunker is an exciting new map filled to the brim with action! Rather than having set classes, everyone starts off with a combat knife. You must gather item boxes that can be found in tents and bunkers, or kill players to make them drop their weapons.

The goal of bunker is to lower the opposing teams energy stations hp to zero. Capturing the bases spread out on the map will do this. Also, if your team has more bases than your opponent, your energy station will recover its hp while your opponents loses hp.

The more the merrier, everyone is welcome to come and try out this new addition to Zone! Please feel free to contact any staff member with your feedback about the new map. Remember, your opinions will help us further improve future updates!
