About
Scary_Sock, Normally known as Xen, started playing Graal in early 2007. Xen's first server to play on, was of course, Era. Xen soon started to rise up in the server. He quit many times due to the economy. He came back one again in 2008, and had a job at Era News. Going up in the world of Era, he became friends with a formally known staff member, Armanno. Armanno and Xen soon became friends after discussing about an unknown subject. Xen soon quit due to inactivity. Xen, once again, came back in 2009, formally getting the new name, Xen Scelus, due to a popularity of the last name, and an invatation to join "Scelus" from a friend, known as Tsukana.

Era
Xen started to get up and up in the world of Era in 2008, where he soon got a job at Amoo Mart as Head Stocker. Doing a wonderful job, he was promoted to Manager. Due to the current Co-Owner's inactivity, Xen went for the Co-Owner position. Xen soon quit Ammo Mart for personal reasons. He later got a job at Era News. He loved to write, so why not? Xen started discussing with the Owner of Era News, Armanno, who is now a retired Era LAT and retired owner of Era News. Armanno and Xen bonded alot, but drifted away in the later weeks, causing Xen to be inactive and quit.

Xen came back to Graal in 2009, Era being the first server he played once he came back in 2009. Alot has changed when he did come back. Many of his friends quit, but he made new friends. He became friends of AE, a person Xen knew not very well in 2007-2008. They became great friends, and trusted each other very well, but AE became inactive in the later months. "Nub", the old owner of Ammo Mart, logged on 2 days after Xen came back to graal. He soon realised "Nub" came back to Graal the same week he did. They also became friends.

Xen soon got a job at Era Hotel. The current owner was Tim_Rock, a former LAT of Era. Tim was the temporary owner of Era Hotel, since the rules implied that no staff member may own a business/gang, and the old owner was inactive. Xen went up from Employee, to Front Desk, to Manager, to Co-owner. Xen soon realised that he was basically running the business himself, and told Tim what was happening, and later that week, Xen took over Era Hotel.

Xen did a fantastic job of managing Era Hotel. He got Tim to work on a new floor for Era Hotel, and a new office. Xen had good plans for Era Hotel, but soon lost the business that same month. Xen later became a recruiter for Tachi, then Usher, but then Recruiter again. Xen was later banned that month.

Development
Xen soon started to Script for many servers, including doing GFX work. The first server he ever did Development work was Babylon, which was in 2007 and when Xen started to script.

Atrius
Xen started off doing GFX work for Atrius back in 2008. He did much work on Atrius as you can imagine. TheJames was really impressed by his work. Soon, Xen became inactive and had to quit. Xen soon came back in 2009, and talked with TheJames on why Atrius was not hosted anymore. Money issues was the problem. The day Atrius went hosted is the same day Atrius was a server again, and the same day Xen became a Game Staff Member. Xen soon started to have fun working on Atrius, and was extremely active. He was later promoted to Game Staff Admin.

Babylon
On Babylon, he had no clue what to do. He applied for a NAT position, and he got it. He scripted many things on Babylon, including an entirely new Events System. That year, Xen went inactive and quit Graal.

Illusia
Xen offered his services to the Development Admin of Illusia, Mattehy, who then accepted Xen's offer. Xen got the position of PR Admin, but Xen soon quit because the lack of Development on the server. Even though, Xen still carries the name of PR Admin on Illusia, they will still remember him.

Endora/Heilyr/Tranquility
Xen got the job of Events Development Asst. Chief, which invloved Xen to LAT and NAT. Xen really took on this tough responsibility. May I also say that when Xen worked on Endora, it was still hosted and it was the day before it was going to go for inspection to go under the Classic Tab. Xen did a tremendous job and was promoted to Events Development Chief. Endora soon became Heilyr and went off the Hosted Tab, then became Tranquility.

Zone
Xen applied for the GFX position on Zone Debug. He got the job, and soon completed his first couple of assignments the week he was hired.

Forum Activity
On the Graal Communication Center, Xen registered his account about a couple of weeks/months after his account was created on Graal Online. Xen soon became active in 2009, which a great attitude, he soon became more active on the forums, making alot of friends and such. Without the forums, Xen wouldn't be so popular as he is today,
Xen came back to Graal in 2009, Era being the first server he played once he came back in 2009.

Scary Sock: /* Platform */

Zone is a futuristic 2D battle server. You can choose a team and a class and directly enter the battlefield. Each planet offers a different style of game play. The goal is to beat the enemy by conquering their bases or by finding all flags and bringing them back to your base.

You can use one of the numerous futuristic weapons such as laser guns and plasma sabre, or use the wide collection of pistoles, riffles and grenades to overthrow your enemy. Additional weapons can be bought for in-game currency in the dropships or gained in events.

On most maps you can also find vehicles such as hover bikes and mechs, which offer protection and powerful arms or let you faster access other parts of the map.

You need to play strategical to be successful - you can use mines for defense, start your jetpack to fly over walls, place boxes to block the path for the enemy or choose the medic class and heal your team members.

Maps
There are sevaral different maps on Zone. Each map has its own set of rules and unique style of game play.

Iricia
Conquer all bases - take over the five bases and your team will win. The main base (Base1) is located at the northen region of the map, it is the base people mainly seek for domination as team members of whoever own the base are able to teleport there using their HQ. This is the most famous map since it allows quite long and challenging battles.

Spar Arena
This is a newer map that was added to replace Alpha. The Spar Arena is composed of two sparring areas and a practice area. The sparring areas are set up so you and another player can enter and spar with each other. The practice area is an area where you and others can go in and battle the practice bot.

Wild Cross
A deathmatch map - the last survivor wins. There is a time limit, the game ends drawn when the time runs out and there is still more than one player alive.

Members of the Events Team can change the rules, like specifying which weapons are allowed. On this map most events for event items are held.

Guild Wars
A more tactical map for Zone, as class selection depends a lot on what you do to overcome the enemy.
This map is an elimination style map, meaning once you are dead you cannot return until the next round. There are new classes such as the engineer, which is the only class able to drive hover bikes and mechs.
The map also utilizes the Dark and Light side classes from the previous map "Zone Wars". These classes are the same as before, but the darkside powers now have a grenade launcher.
There are a special type of Scout and Medic on Gwars. The medic supports a blaster which can bounce foes about to knock them away and the Scout has the lavagun and dartgun.
There are 2 teleports to the lava caves, where only melee weapons are only allowed. This makes things a lot more instense if there are only a few on your team left. Also, some nice particle effects are used in the caves.
The Events Team can restrict the teams to special guild names, so that it is possible for guilds to compete against each other, or one guild can compete against the server.

KOTH
A classic king-of-the-hill map, up to 4 teams can take part in the battle for the center of the map. If one team has more players standing in the middle than the currently leading team, then it will take over the map. The first team that is protecting the hill for four minutes wins the round. The losing teams will get some time bonus in the next round, for balancing team strength. The Events Team can restrict the teams to special guild names, so that it is possible for guilds to compete against each other.

Bunker
The goal on Bunker is to control the bases. There are two teams and three bases and each base will be a power line. If your team captures the base, it will take power from the other team's base and will lower their shields. After a certain point the enemies power planet will fail and your team wins. You start with a combat knife and have to find crates to get more weapons. The new helicopter vehicle is also located here.

Events Planets
There are a few special planets that are used only for Events.

Platform
Platform does not have any specific form of game play. The only distinct difference in game play is that platform has a gravity effect which makes it more difficult to fight, and is much like a platform-game. There are 2 teams in an all-out battle. Platform is open one half an hour every two hours. It alternates with Zone Wars.

Zone Wars
Zone Wars has some history. It was originally in the place that Guild Wars (GWARS) is located. It was taken out, much to the dismay of many Zone players. Due to popular request it was brought back as an event world, and is open half an hour every two hours.
The game play on Zone Wars is very simple. The objective of the map is to attack the other teams base. There are only two teams, Light Side and the Dark Side. The first team to take down the other teams base wins!

Snowrace
Snowrace is a mini world. Snowrace is composed of 15 different tracks. It is opened by Events Team members. Once opened, you will be asked if you would like to join. If you accept, you will move to the start line. The Events Team member will start the race as either mech, bike, or foot. You will be put in that vehicle, or on foot, and you will have to race to the finish. The first one there wins.

Jumprace
Jumprace is a mini world. When opened, you will be asked if you would like to join. If you accept, you will be warped to the start line. You will have a Blaster or, if you have it, you can use a Gravity Hammer. An Events Team member will start the round, and the objective is to avoid the obstacles and other players to finish first.

Lava Event
Lava Event involves Blasters. An Events Team Member will call the event and will start it. Once started, Blasters will blast you back a few tiles. If you happen to hit the outside, you will be warped out of the event. The last man, or woman, left wins! It is much like a "Sumo" or "Fallout" event on a Classic server.

Vehicle Planet
Events team members can spawn vehicles of any hitpoints. Once the event is started the last person left standing wins.

He got the job, and soon completed his first assignment the day he was hired.
Forum Activity
On the Graal Communication Center, Xen registered his account about a couple of weeks/months after his account was created on Graal Online. Xen soon became active in 2009, which a great attitude, he soon became more active on the forums, making alot of friends and such.

Crono (former account name: Gerami) was basically the reason why pluffy become an emoticion/smiley.

There was a thread on the GCC, where the Thread-creator drew a "Puff-like figure". Soon, everyone did the same thing, and Crono was the only one to make one that looked childish, but "Impressed" all the GCC members.

Soon, every member enjoyed that artwork. One member said it was horrible, but Crono insisted that it was his best work, then suggesting that he can, and possibly will make it as his avatar and signature. Later, he did.

Crono soon made a group called "The Pluffy Gang". An incredible amount of members joined, causing it to be one of Graal's "Icons".

The reason why "Pluffy" was made into an emoticon/smiley was because it was one of Graal's "Icons", and one day, Goboom was putting in new smilies, and he made one based on Crono's signature.

To do this day, many have tried to make many icons like "Pluffy", and many have failed. The legend still lives, due to Crono.

History
At the beginning Era had one of the highest playercounts on Graal. The manager, Chrisz, quit and the server was given to Jenn. Jenn attempted to revamp the server, but the playercount of Era declined.

Era was then given Andrew and the server was starting to get better. Andrew then gave the server to Velox. Velox's attempts to revamp again decreased the playercount, and Era was passed on to Rick.

Rick was then given the server and he worked for almost half a year to fix the server up and it was released in October of 2005, but it was met with dislike from the players because they felt it lacked much that Era had originally had.
