Kevin Azite, the semi-self-proclaimed Graalian semi-super-hero, has been a member of the Graal Online community for an extensive number of years, with his roots dating back to 2000.
== Community ==
He is a known pest, more or less, on the [[Graal Communication Center]], as well as the Classic server. He is an individual whom you either love or hate for is "zany antics" (a phrase which shall never be uttered hereon in the presence of the said individual), and his rebellious, headstrong attitude (once again, more or less). Or, alternatively, you could just not really care.

== Staff Positions ==
* Sparitoria: Kevin's first official staff position on Graal. He quickly ascended the ranks from NAT, to NAT Captain, NAT Admin, Co-Manager, and finally Manager. The server was in most desperate need of help. Kevin was the current manager when the server had reached Hosted status. He silently and mysteriously slipped out of sight one day, but since became Manager of Spartoria once again. Nonetheless, Sparitoria was forever crippled by his first departure, in combination with Smirt (Staff Admin, one step ahead of Kevin) and NaS (The Co-Owner) leaving as well.

* Dark Nations: Kevin was the Co-Manager at the time of Dark Nations reaching the hosted tab (for the third time), while an inactive manager knew nothing of the server’s accomplishment. Things ran fairly smoothly, but then one day, after a feud with Lucavi (who rocks your socks, by the way), Kevin left Dark Nations for good to begin working on a server of his own, where he claimed the top dog position of Owner.

* Kalypso: Like most servers, this one had no definite goals or ideas to carry on. It was a foolish mistake on Mr. Azite’s part to ever get involved in purchasing the server, but he was, “so drunk that christmas night that I didn't care.‿ Kalypso, near the end of it's sixth month, was turned into a Classic revival, using the old levels pack, and slowly converting the levels to work with an NPC Server. But Björn came and forced them to delete the levels, or otherwise, Kalypso would be removed. Because the manager of Graal Classic complained that Kalypso is not allowed to use those levels. He later attempted working out the situation, but before any agreement could surface, Kalypso’s time had by then expired, and Kevin chose not to renew.

*Abyssal: Kevin's abandoned project, a server developing very slowly. He blames GraalOnline, feels it was sold to him in an unusable state, and continued to be in this predicament for two months, although only one of those two months was given back. It is currently awaiting the activation of GScript2, but as before, no response was recieved. It has 'lost' over three months of the six purchased, and the upper authorities refuse to give the time back. This is mostly because the server is actually quite usable and there was no promise of GScript2 made.

From owning newbies and oldbies alike, to making grown men cry, Kevin Azite certainly has his share of extraordinary, and even more super, powers, which he uses for both good and bad (mostly bad, because he’s cool like that). Because of this, of course, he is definitely a super-hero. Or super-villain. Whatever. Shut up.

His most-definitely-awesome super-powers include, but are not limited to:
* the ability to own anyone who may try to take him down
* being a legendary member of the Azite family (and yes, this is, in itself, a super-power)
* the ability to kick ultra ass
* the ability to supremely own Master Storm, manager of Classic (but in ‘’no way’’ taking over his place over the server, keep that in mind!)

Kevin Azite, the semi-self-proclaimed Graalian semi-super-hero, has been a member of the Graal Online community for an extensive number of years, with his roots dating back to 2000.
== Community ==
He is a known pest, more or less, on the [[Graal Communication Center]], as well as the Classic server. He is an individual whom you either love or hate for is "zany antics" (a phrase which shall never be uttered hereon in the presence of the said individual), and his rebellious, headstrong attitude (once again, more or less). Or, alternatively, you could just not really care.

== Staff Positions ==
* Sparitoria: Kevin's first official staff position on Graal. He quickly ascended the ranks from NAT, to NAT Captain, NAT Admin, Co-Manager, and finally Manager. The server was in most desperate need of help. Kevin was the current manager when the server had reached Hosted status. He silently and mysteriously slipped out of sight one day, but since became Manager of Spartoria once again. Nonetheless, Sparitoria was forever crippled by his first departure, in combination with Smirt (Staff Admin, one step ahead of Kevin) and NaS (The Co-Owner) leaving as well.

* Dark Nations: Kevin was the Co-Manager at the time of Dark Nations reaching the hosted tab (for the third time), while an inactive manager knew nothing of the server’s accomplishment. Things ran fairly smoothly, but then one day, after a feud with Lucavi (who rocks your socks, by the way), Kevin left Dark Nations for good to begin working on a server of his own, where he claimed the top dog position of Owner.

* Kalypso: Like most servers, this one had no definite goals or ideas to carry on. It was a foolish mistake on Mr. Azite’s part to ever get involved in purchasing the server, but he was, “so drunk that christmas night that I didn't care.‿ Kalypso, near the end of it's sixth month, was turned into a Classic revival, using the old levels pack, and slowly converting the levels to work with an NPC Server. But Björn came and forced them to delete the levels, or otherwise, Kalypso would be removed. Because the manager of Graal Classic complained that Kalypso is not allowed to use those levels. He later attempted working out the situation, but before any agreement could surface, Kalypso’s time had by then expired, and Kevin chose not to renew.

*Abyssal: Kevin's current project, a server developing very slowly. He blames GraalOnline, feels it was sold to him in an unusable state, and continued to be in this predicament for two months, although only one of those two months was given back. It is currently awaiting the activation of GScript2, but as before, no response was recieved. It has 'lost' over three months of the six purchased, and the upper authorities refuse to give the time back. This is mostly because the server is actually quite usable and there was no promise of GScript2 made.
[Note from Kevin: If a server is usable, you can usually log on RC from point of purchase with the Admin-Playerworld account. Check with Raelyn/Spark to see if this truly made the server unusable.]

*Classic: Kevin's super-duper-ownage-talent made him the first non-GC LAT scripter to be hired post NPC-Server. He resigned from his position after a mere two weeks for unclear reasons, and currently runs around Classic informing all who get in his way (in addition to those who don’t) to "smd", and "stfu newb."

From owning newbies and oldbies alike, to making grown men cry, Kevin Azite certainly has his share of extraordinary, and even more super, powers, which he uses for both good and bad (mostly bad, because he’s cool like that). [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] is a top 2D multiplayer server that focuses primarily on its adventure aspects and player interaction rather than having tiresome experienced based leveling or huge role play elements. As Graal's oldest world, it has a lot of prestige, reputation and history amongst players.

Many players of the players enjoy practicing thier fighting techniques through sparring (organized fighting) and pk'ing (somewhat less organized fighting), and there is a lot of competition to become the best. Each month, a large tournament is held to determine the finest fighter on [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] - a position that comes with great honour, and frequently the events team hold various sparring tournaments. As Classic is not level/experience based, it is possible for players from all servers to come on and be competitive based on thier skill alone.

[[Worlds/Classic|Classic's]] events team also put on many other events throughout the day, such as ''Capture The Flag'', ''Sumo Battles'' and many more, with the winning players recieving tickets that can be exchanged for unique collectors items. With new event items being added all the time, it will take the most dedicated of player to obtain them all.

As a Classic server, [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] is available to all players, though [[Trial]] accounts will not have thier stats saved.

=History=
===The Early Years===
[[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] was the first [[Playerworld]] to emerge on Graal, and as a result, has gathered a strong reputation amongst [[Oldbies]].

For a long time, the server was managed by Tyhm, and slowly evolved with interesting new ideas such as 'races', whereby players gained attributes of thier chosen race, for example, the Zorbi race could trap other players inside bubbles in order to escape a battle, though these races were later removed after players complained of 'unfairness' between them.

As time continued, a storyline and cutscenes were integrated, and the overworld was moulded to fit more cleanly together, eventually shaping the [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] world into a series of islands. These changes were prompted by the influx of new players, and the introduction of mapped levels, which allowed players to see nearby levels as if they were part of one large area. To appease some of the older players, unhappy with these changes, a quest was formed which took an early version of [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]], and placed it into a 'museum'.

===The Middle Ages===
By mid 2003, [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] was bulging with content, with some 7000 levels on the server. Whilst this was great for the players, especially those with a tendency to explore, Tyhm and his development team himself were finding it increasingly difficult to convert everything over for the emerging [[NPC-Server]] technology.

In March 2004, due to other commitments, Tyhm left the management of [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]], and after a brief period of anarchy, [[Stefan]] stepped in, appointing a new manager, Master Storm on the 7th of April. Storm made it his primary focus to get the NPC Server released, as it was by now some many years overdue. Due to various situations, namely the difficulty with converting everything, Storm decided instead to rebuild [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] from scratch, focusing on getting compatibility with the NPC server at a base level, and expanding with content after. The wipe of content also meant that new ideas could be implemented, and that the [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] development team could create a world closer to the servers roots.

==='New Classic'===
On January 6th 2005, the [[NPC-Server]] launched for [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]]. This came somewhat early in the development of 'New Classic', but was pretty much forced as support for old style Classic GServers was being removed. It is fair to say that the server was rushed to meet this deadline, and this has had large knock on effects. Not long after, GScript 2 was introduced, and this futher delayed progress, as time had to be dedicated to compatability rather than the creation of content. The appointment of a new LAT Admin in August '05 has greatly improved the situation, and [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]]is finally rebuilding itself.

Since the introdustion of the [[NPC-Server]], [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] has been using custom movement and hit detection. Whilst these have been designed to closely emulate the built in system of Graal, by using custom movement, the opportunity for interesting new ideas is greatly increased. The custom movement also allows more subtle tweaks, such as allowing for a greater range of player movement speeds, and encompasses various bug fixes.

More controversial is the rewritten hit detection. This places the hit detection entirely serverside, as opposed to the clientside detection with which many are accustomed. This greatly improves security, and provides a more consistent, lower lag, but has been controversial with the players, most notably the sparring and pk'ing fraternity, as they have had to adjust to the different lag behaviour.

There remain few who still believe that the rebuilding is, in essence, wrong. However, any opinions held by these members of [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] are held in disregard. There remain even fewer who hold a hope of actually gaining the beloved [[Worlds/Classic|Classic]] back. If you would like to join the fight to restore classic, feel free to contact any of the known revolutionaries. However, it is most likely no one will care and you will be placed on special "Staff Watch Lists". It is a dangerous path, so watch yourself.
