TGUIAnimation (TGraalVar):
amplitude - float - amplitude for moveupdown, moveleftright and zoominout
currenttime - float
delay - float - the animation starts after the specified number of seconds
duration - float - the animation will last the specified number of seconds
interval - float - interval for moveupdown, moveleftright and zoominout
tabfirstonshow - boolean - calls tabfirst() after showing the control, by default true
timing - string - timing function: 'linear' or 'sinus', sinus is only used for moveupdown, moveleftright and zoominout
transition - string - specifies the animation type: transform, fadeout, fadein, moveoutleft, moveinleft, moveoutright, moveinright, moveouttop, moveintop, moveoutbottom, moveinbottom, moveupdown, moveleftright, flipoutleft, flipinleft, flipoutright, flipinright, zoomin, zoomout, zoominout, growin, growout, shrinkin, shrinkout, rotateoutleft, rotateinleft, rotateoutright, rotateinright

Description
createanimation()
Creates an animation on the object, temporary modification of the values.
transform transition
If you use the transition = "transform" then you can specify the destination bounds ({x,y,width,height}), the alpha value (0-1) and the rotation. The control will then be moved from the current position to the destination coordinates, this allows more fine-grained animations compared to moveinleft, fadein etc. However this actually moves the the control, compared to the other transitions which just animate the control and at the end set the visibility, while the control will still keep the original position.
Overworld Monsters
Bomy
Coming from another world, the Bomy is the weakest of all the monsters of the lands, not being able to do much more than running up to their enemies for a kicking or biting attack. Although at one time, the bomy civilization was much more organized and intelligent, nowadays they merely act as animals, attacking travelers who stray too close.
Evil Bomy
The Evil Bomy is a bomy that has grown to become much more malicious than the others. They're characterized by glowing red eyes, and a mouth full of large, sharp teeth. Although a bit more fierce looking, their attacks are limited to those of all other bomies.
Ice Bomy
Ice bomies live only in the snow-covered mountains near Igloo town. They have adapted a strong defense to predators, as their shell is covered with ice crystals. As with many other bomies though, they are only dangerous in large groups, and to inexperienced adventurers.
Shell Bomy
Shell Bomies are those that have adapted to life on the beaches. They are also known to burrow into the ground, and will attack if disturbed by shovel-happy wanderers. These bomies are characterized by large, spiral-shaped shells, and claws which they use to pinch their enemies with. Burrowing Shell Bomies are a darker color than their coastline counterparts.
The Mushroom is a type of fungus that has gained the ability to uproot itself and bounce around. Nobody is sure where this ability came from, though the presence of the alien bomies may have something to do with it. If approached, the Mushroom will attack by bouncing toward its foe, slamming into it to cause damage.
The Battle Potato is another type of mutated vegetation found around the Archipelago. They normally spend their time underground, but will rise up and attack if they sense the vibrations of human footsteps in the area. They often catch travelers by surprise, as when hidden, they resemble most other vegetation in the area. Oddly enough, the Battle Potato seems to use its sharp leaves as a weapon, attempting to stab those that endanger it.
Gloks are animated piles of ectoplasm, spawned from the high amounts of ghostly energy found around the Haunted House area. Contact with a Glok is not advised, as they are known to be able to poison those that touch them. Unless you are strong enough to fight them quickly, attacking from a distance is encouraged.
The Wolf, sometimes called the Werewolf, is a humanoid wolf that makes its home in the Underground Dungeon. Not much is known about the social structure of the Wolves, but they must have some intelligence, as they are modest enough to be seen in pants. They are highly territorial, and will leap at intruders with claws and teeth at the ready. They are tough-skinned, and seem to be resistant to most magical attacks. A howl through the caverns is a death knell for inexperienced adventurers, as a pack of Wolves can tear apart an unprotected Human in seconds.
The T-Rex is a fearsome beast from eons past. Although they were thought to be lost into the flow of time, many have been found populating various caverns, including the Underground Dungeon. =Lords=
Lords are monsters that,through some unknown method, have become many times larger and stronger than their normal counterparts. Many theories have been created to try to explain this phenomena, ranging from Demonic influence, to simple overeating. To this day however, the real cause remains unknown.

All Lords are massive in size, and can be heard off in the distance, giving those who stand no chance a possibility of escape. They are extremely strong, and should be considered a threat by even medium strength warriors. All Lords have the ability to summon lesser minions, and to set traps, though they only seem to make use of this ability indoors.

Battle Mushroom Lord
The Battle Mushroom Lord, as the name suggests, is a Battle Mushroom that has grown to immense size. It is colored an odd black and gray instead of the normal bright colors of the Battle Mushroom, and hops along, leaving large indents in the ground.

Deas Voice: Found "rcofftagoverridesignore" :D /* Known Server Options */

The server options are a collection of key=value configuration options that allow you to customize the non-scriptable behaviour of an individual Playerworld.

Usage
Options are usually set only by high Playerworld staff, preferably only the Playerworld owner, as they are very powerful and can be abused easily.

When you omit an option, its value will not be changed if the option has been used before. Therefore, it is more secure to change only the value and not whole option, should you need to change something.

Lines beginning with # are not parsed, and can be used for comments.

Known Server Options
Please add new options if you discover them.

Start location
startlevel=level name
startx=number
starty=number

This sets the originating location for all Players which do not have location statistics of their own saved locally.

Unstick me location
unstickmelevel=level name
unstickmex=number
unstickmey=number

These define the position that a Player is warped to after using the Unstick me command.

Unstick Time
unstickmetime=number

This option sets the amount of time a player has to be idle before they can use the unstick me command.

Protected Weapons
protectedweapons=list of comma seperated weapon names

NPC weapons that cannot be deleted by the Player. This differs from weapons with asterisk prefixed name which cannot be deleted with the Del key, but still can be deleted on the Clientside using the destroy command. `Protected' weapons can (unless *ified) be deleted with Del, but the NPC server will not remove them from the player's weapon list and thus the Serverside part will remain and the player obtains them again on the next connect.

Jail Levels
jaillevels=level names comma separated

Non-staff players in these levels will not be able to leave them. A Serverside setlevel2 or warping with RC is neccessary. Also, they can send PMs only to RC clients and not regular Clients.
, ,

Explosion Restriction
noexplosions=true/false

Disables the result of putexplosion, and `explosive' NPC weapons.

Statistic Restriction
setbodyallowed=true/false
setheadallowed=true/false
setbomyallowed=true/false
setswordallowed=true/false
setshieldallowed=true/false

Whether the chat commands to change the player's appearance are enabled. Defaults to true.

Gralat Loss Options
mindeathgralats=number
maxdeathgralats=number

Defines the amount of Gralats that the player drops on death.

Staff Gralat Restriction
normaladminscanchangegralats=true/false

Whether normal RCs can change the gralat count of a player. `Normal' used to be defined as `below Adminlevel 4', but nowadays is probably regulated by certain high-level Admin rights.

Local 'Staff Guilds'
staffguilds=comma seperated list of guild names

Matches to these Guild names appear in the `Staff' section of the playerlist.

`Bush' Items
bushitems=true/false

Selects whether Bushes contain Items. May not work on a GMap.

`Baddy' Items
baddyitems=true/false

Selects whether baddies drop Items once killed.

`Healing' Swords
healswords=true/false

Selects whether is possible to have a negative Sword power and thus add Hearts to those hit by the sword.

Non-script timeouts
respawntime=number
horselifetime=number
baddyrespawntime=number

Timeout in seconds for respawn times for Bushes, Horses and Baddies

Server Scripting Flags
dontaddserverflags=true/false

Selects whether scripts can add new Server flags or only modify existing ones.

Server Maps
bigmap=maptext,mapimage,defaultx,defaulty
minimap=maptext,mapimage,defaultx,defaulty

Default serverwide Maps. Syntax resembles setmap and setminimap GScript commands.

Warping (All Players)
warptoforall=true/false
warptoforlowadmins=true/false

Whether all Players can use the Warpto command, and whether Global Admin level 1 allows warpto.

Warping Activation
warpto=false/true
ignorewarpto=true/false

Allows or disallows the default Warpto command for all staff, including Globals. This is normally enabled.

Note that warpto=false will show a "(warping is disabled)" error message to Player, whereas ignorewarpto=true will treat Warpto commands as just normal chat text and display no error message.

The latter is good for replacing the default Warpto command with a scripted version.

Ghost Mode
ghostmodeenabled=true/false
Displays a multi-lined text which can contain several HTML-tags. This should be put in a GuiScrollCtrl to avoid text being clipped and not being displayed.

GuiMLTextCtrl is also used for displaying hints when moving the mouse over a GuiControl.

addtext(str, bool) - adds text, second parameter specifies if it should automatically reflow; reflowing also updates width, height and line count, but if you plan to call addtext() several times then it's better to not let it reflow immediatelly because it can be slow on large text

onURL(url) - an url has been clicked (<a href=url>-tag)

onReflow(newwidth,newheight) - the size of the displayed text has been changed

Tags
The text of multi-line text controls can contain
a few HTML-tags and Torque-tags, you can use both
of those tag types to define colors and fonts
or to include images. The Torque-tags (previously added for compatibility) will be disabled in some time in the future, so it's recommended to use plain HTML tags. Currently following tags are available:

HTML:
<a href=url> text </a> - when the user clicks on 'text' then a
web browser is opened for the specified url (actually it is just
calling controlname.onURL(url) and the script needs to call openurl(url) then)
<b> text </b> - draws text with bold font
<body bgcolor=colorname or #rrggbb background=imagename> - sets the background color or image
<br> - line break
<center> text </center> - centers the contained text
<font face=fontname size=textsize color=colorname or #rrggbb> text </font>
- draws text with a special font, size and color; you only
need to define one of those 3 attributes
<h1> text </h1> .. <h6> text <h6> - draws text as a head line (with bigger fonts)

Deas Voice: /* Fix */ added "(or a launcher, as linux calls it) 'cus i just used this method to create a .jar "shortcut" and i forgot what it meant with shortcut.

Introduction
Because of the variety of Linux Operating Systems available problems might raise when using GraalOnline software. This page will outline a few known problems and solutions on how to fix them.

Installation
To watch a video on how to install the Remote Control click here.

Downloading
The Remote Control client can be downloaded from either www.graalonline.com @ RC Download or as an installation package from the Login Server.

Extracting
If the Remote Control client was downloaded using the www.graalonline.com method enter the following commands into a Terminal session:

cd /path/to/download/directory
mv rc.tgz ~/.graal/graal4/
cd ~/.graal/graal4/
tar -xzf rc.tgz rc
rm rc.tgz

If the Remote Control client was downloaded using the Login Server method enter the following commands into a Terminal session:

cd ~/.graal/graal4/rc
mv rc.tgz ~/.graal/graal4/
cd ~/.graal/graal4/
tar -xzf rc.tgz rc
rm rc.tgz

Remote Control Directories
The Remote Control client uses 2 directories within the graal root directory. The first directory is: ~/.graal/rc which stores the control2config.txt configuration file, private messages, and player profiles. The second directory stores the language-specs, images, and the executable file located at ~/.graal/graal4/rc/.

Additional Packages
If the Remote Control client is failing to launch the current Linux Distribution may not provide the packages needed to launch the client. Attempting to launch the Remote Control client in a Terminal session will outline the missing packages the Distribution is missing.

cd ~/.graal/graal4/rc/
./rc

Remote Control from any Directory
To begin with the Linux Remote Control client can only be launched from the directory it is executed from without crashing due to not being able to find the images used by the graphical interface of the Remote Control client. This disallows the user to create a shortcut for the client.

Fix
Open a Terminal session and type the commands below:

cd ~/.graal/graal4/rc/
mv rc rc_bin
nano rc

Using the text editor 'nano' type in the following:

#!/bin/sh
cd ~/.graal/graal4/rc/
exec ~/.graal/graal4/rc/rc_bin

Now set execute permissions so you can launch the file:

chmod +x rc

This should allow the Remote Control client to be launched from any directory as a shortcut (or a launcher, as linux calls it).

Launching Remote Control on Ubuntu 9.10
Initially, Ubuntu 9.10 doesn't contain the package 'libgtksourceview1.0-0' which is needed to launch the Graal Remote Control client.

Fix
To fix this problem simply install the package 'libgtksourceview1.0-0' by typing the following into a Terminal session:

sudo apt-get install libgtksourceview1.0-0

#!/bin/sh
cd ~/.graal/graal4/rc/
exec ~/.graal/graal4/rc/rc_bin

Now set execute permissions so you can launch the file:

chmod +x rc

This should allow the Remote Control client to be launched from any directory as a shortcut (or a launcher as linux calls it).
